Today Magnetteknik AB provides proportional valves in the Nordic and Baltic countries from German manufacturer Thomas Magnete. Magnetteknik will from December 1, 2014 submit distribution operations for Thomas Magnetes products in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to SVAB.
We have, after careful consideration chosen SVAB as our successor. SVAB are well known for their high quality in machine control and hydraulics, says Magnettekniks CEO, Erik Göök.
SVAB see it as a natural step to take over Magnettekniks growing distribution business and integrate it into their own hydraulics offer.
Extending our hydraulic offer and initiating a collaboration with Thomas Magnete is a natural step for SVAB. This strengthens our ability to deliver complete systems and components within machine control. A collaboration with Thomas Magnete also means good opportunities to further expand our product range in the future, says SVAB’s CEO, Göran Karlström.
