SVAB Receives the 2026 Export Prize
SVAB Hydraulik AB has been awarded the 2026 Export Prize by the Chamber of Commerce Mälardalen and Grant Thornton. The award recognizes companies that contribute to growth through successful international sales.
Earlier this year, SVAB was recognized in Las Vegas for how the company presented its technology at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Now SVAB is also being recognized for what the same long-term work leads to in the market. For the company, there is a clear connection between the two awards.
At SVAB, innovation is not only about developing new technology, but also about making it clear, relevant and valuable to the people who use it. When that succeeds, it is reflected both in the way visitors experience the company at a trade show and in how technology from Åsbro reaches customers in markets around the world.
The 2026 Export Prize is therefore a recognition of many years of purposeful work, strong collaboration and a clear focus on international growth. Today, direct and indirect exports account for 82 percent of SVAB’s revenue, and the share of direct exports has grown from 44 percent in 2021 to 58 percent in 2025.
For SVAB, the award is above all a recognition of the work, commitment and collaboration found throughout the company. SVAB would also like to thank its customers, partners and employees who contribute to this continued development, as well as the Chamber of Commerce Mälardalen and Grant Thornton for the award.
